I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
